The Ins And Outs of How We Do Business
Modern slavery statement (Voluntary)
Although City Centre Clean Ltd is not legally required to publish a Modern Slavery Statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we are fully committed to ensuring that our business and supply chains are free from modern slavery and human trafficking.
We are a small, locally run cleaning company with direct oversight of our staff and a limited, well-vetted supply chain. All of our operatives:
-
Are right-to-work verified and directly employed
-
Receive clear contracts and fair pay
-
Are inducted with guidance on their rights and how to raise concerns
We do not tolerate exploitation in any form and expect the same high ethical standards from any suppliers or subcontractors we work with.
For clients in the public and education sectors, including universities, we also commit to:
-
Participating in safeguarding or modern slavery audits
-
Maintaining clear grievance and escalation routes
-
Continuously improving our practices as we grow
This voluntary statement reflects our values and our intent to do business responsibly, transparently, and in line with national best practice.
